Adventurous Monchique Hike
A great day out conquering the second highest mountain of the Algarve, the marvelous Picota (774 m). An adventurous 7km hike with quite a bit of climbing.
We will cross beautiful Cork Oak and Eucalyptus forests, to finally arrive to the top of Picota. Here we can overlook all of the Algarve from South to West.
ONLY ON REQUEST
Adventurous circular hike from the foot of the Picota straight to the top with mostly dirt track and narrow paths. Long steep climb and descent straight through the woods
Lunch break during the hike, so bring a picnic. Option to walk into the center of Monchique after the hike
